The Meyers Bros are Matt and Warren Meyers: real brothers, real name, born in London and raised on '90s rave, house and garage. For twenty years the clubs knew them as Soulshaker, their legendary name in house music, and they've had hits as Audiofreaks and as Soulshaker & Stereojackers too. Now the name on their passports is the name on the record.

Music was the family business before they were born. Their dad, David Meyers, was a songwriter and studio owner. With his writing partner John Worsley he wrote Jack In The Box, the UK's 1971 Eurovision entry for Clodagh Rodgers and a UK #3 hit, and Luton Airport, and the pair worked with a young singer who went on to become Billy Ocean. Billy even stayed with the family for a while and babysat Matt, Warren and their older brother Jason.

Matt was promoting raves and DJing on pirate radio at 15, and at 25 he took over SAW's Hit Factory studios in London Bridge. Warren started writing on an eight-track in his bedroom at 13 and grew into the duo's lead composer.

Across their names they've had no fewer than twenty #1s and more than 100 Top 10s in the UK's Music Week charts, plus Billboard #1s, among them Deborah Cox's Let The World Be Ours Tonight, which they wrote and produced. They won Best International Dance Producers at the Malta Music Awards, a title held before them by Bob Sinclar and David Guetta.

In the studio they've worked with Snoop Dogg, Nicole Scherzinger, Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Robin S, CeCe Peniston, Martha Wash, Jocelyn Brown, David Morales, Lindsay Lohan, Keri Hilson, Mark Morrison and Super Junior, on the major labels and most of the key independents. As Audiofreaks they wrote theme music for ITV's Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and The Big Reunion.

Behind the decks they've played Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Space, Ushuaïa, Eden, Fabric, Twilo and Camden Palace, guested on Judge Jules' Judge & The Jury on Kiss FM in the '90s, and hosted their own show, the Audiofreaks Saturday Sessions, on Ministry of Sound Radio. For many years the Soulshaker DJ line-up also included their honorary brother, DJ Gizmo (Gary Manktelow), on gigs from London clubs to Dubai.

Then they went back to the family songbook. Their first single as The Meyers Bros, Ain't No Love In The House with Katie Jones, samples an unreleased song of their dad's and went to #1 on the UK's Music Week Commercial Club chart. The follow-up, Give A Little Love with Livvy Lauren, did it again. They still spend Tuesdays in the studio.
